This chart is a reference guide only. Pantone colors on computer screens may
vary based on the graphics card and monitor used in your system.
For true accuracy
please, come by our office to see the printed Pantone Color System Color
Chart to choose the color that will actually print.
Please be aware
colors will print differently on
C - coated (glossy), U - un-coated (plain) and M -
matte papers.
In the swatch book the
number of the color is followed by a C, M, or U,
indicating Coated, Matte, and Un-coated Paper.
Always pick the color actually printed on the type paper you will be using.

The Pantone Matching
SystemŽ is the industry standard for selecting, matching, and mixing color.
The Pantone System utilizes 11 basic colors to achieve over 1000 different
colors that are used by printers and art departments. The basic colors that
are used are yellow, warm red, rubine red, rhodamine red, purple, violet,
reflex blue, process blue, green, black, and transparent white, which looks
clear.
